Building & Grounds
Church buildings take lots of upkeep, and our B&G Committee works hard to keep the church in good repair, clean, and the grounds in good shape. It also oversees usage of the building by outside groups.
Care
The Care Committee cares for our members by welcoming our visitors, visiting our homebound members, along with providing Communion for them, providing a tape ministry, and a prayer chain. We also have an active Parish Nurse ministry.
Christian Education
Education is an important part of who we are and the CE Committee provides educational opportunities such as Sunday School, Wed. night Bible study, our Christian Kids Club (CKC), & PAIN (Presbyterian Adolescents Involved Now). We also have the Presbyterian Women's Circle, which has a monthly Bible study.
Fellowship
The Fellowship Committee plans get togethers for the congregation, like church suppers, or outings to see plays, or visit historic churches, or browse through interesting towns, or just to eat out together and listen to some bluegrass.
Finance & Administration
The Finance Committee has the task of wisely planning our budget each year, based on our Stewardship campaign, and handles business matters such as church investments, and insurance.
Mission
The Mission Committee is very busy with outreach to local, national and international missions. We're involved in the Haddad Scholarship, the Sharing Center here in town, our local Relay for Life, Presbytery missions, and a mission trip to Jamaica, to name only a few!
Personnel
The Personnel Committee does annual performance reviews of the staff and makes recommendations about salaries and benefits.
Stewardship
The Stewardship Committee has the important task of the annual Stewardship Campaign, which helps us to plan our budget efficiently every year.
Worship
The Worship Committee oversees the music program, along with the various elements of the worship service like Communion, Acolytes, Children's Moment, flowers and pulpit supply.
